2017 Notre Dame Law School Smith-Doheny Legal Ethics Writing Competition

DEADLINE: Entries must be received before 5 p.m., Friday, April 28, 2017.

Notre Dame Law School sponsors the annual Smith-Doheny Legal Ethics Writing Competition. All students with an interest in legal ethics are encouraged to participate.
 
ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to all law students at U.S. and Canadian law schools. 
 
TOPIC
Entries should concern any issue within the general category of legal ethics and be original, unpublished work. Co-authored essays may be submitted.
 
PRIZE
A prize of $2,500 will be awarded for one winning entry.
 
FORMAT
Entries must not exceed 50 pages, including notes, on 8.5 x 11 paper, double-spaced, and standard font. 
 
SUBMISSION
Include a cover letter with contact information and name of current law school. Entries must be received before 5 p.m., Friday, April 28, 2017. All entries should be submitted to:
