We regret to inform you that we will no longer be publishing the Law and Business Review of the Americas journal, which has been published by the International Law Review Association at SMU Dedman School of Law since 1995. The Law and Business Review of the Americas addressed the legal, business, economic, political, and social dimensions of Western Hemispheric integration efforts, their implementation, their evolvement and expansion, and their overall impact on doing business in the Americas. The journal combined practical and policy implications of these integration processes and covered not only matters of immediate concern and interest, but also matters of reform within the various countries in the Western Hemisphere.
The law school and the student editorial board wish to thank Professors Joe Norton and George Martinez, who along with former Professor Jane Dolkart, founded the journal in 1994. We also wish to thank the ABA Section of International Law and Practice, the SMU Cox School of Business, the SMU Departments of Economics and Political Science, and the Centre for Commercial Law Studies (Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London) for their contributions to the journal. We would be remiss if we didn’t thank the members of the advisory board through the years, the student editors, and TaLibra Ferguson for all their contributions to the journal. Finally, we would like to acknowledge all of the hard work and contributions by authors and editors through the years.
Southern Methodist University and the International Law Review Association would like to thank you for your subscription to the Law and Business Review of the Americas.
